GENMAICHA TEA (100 or 200 grams)
A savory traditional Japanese tea containing loose leaf
green tea and roasted brown rice. A slightly yellow colour
adorns your cup as roasted brownrice finds its way both into
your lips, and your heart. Legend says that once a slave
mistakenly dropped some rice into his samurai master's tea as it was
brewing. Unfortunately this cost the slave his life, but as
the master realized he was delighted with the taste he named the
tea 'Genmaicha' in honor of the now deceased man.
2 to 3 tsp per medium pot infused for 3 mins at 90 C
